Shurgard Self Storage - Basingstoke

I used this storage facility in Basingstoke for about a year (originally when it was Lok’nStore, before Shurgard took over) whilst moving house out of the area, and overall I’ve had a really good experience. The staff are absolutely brilliant — the same friendly, helpful team who always go out of their way to assist and make things easy. They really are what makes this place great. Pricing is generally fair and competitive, though I did notice that since the change in ownership the flexibility around deals and discounts isn’t quite what it used to be under Lok’nStore. That said, the quality of service and the convenience of the facility have remained excellent, and everything has always felt safe and well maintained. Overall, I’m very happy with the service and would definitely recommend Shurgard if you’re looking for reliable storage with genuinely lovely staff.

We would totally recommend Shurgard at Basingstoke. Great service from Lara, Ed and Paulette. They are always helpful and knowledgeable. Lara and Ed thoroughly explained the process and showed us around which made deciding on what storage unit size we’d require much easier. Every time we visit they’re always welcoming. The units are well cleaned before you move anything in. 5 stars all the way!

Ed & Lara were both so helpful today. I had a DHL Collection, which I had travelled a long way to be there for. Both went out of their way to look after me and help me with anything which I needed & got me on my way home earlier than would've been possible without their help. A massive thankyou to both of you.🤩

Very helpful staff, clean, tidy and secure. The only complaint is they close at 4pm on a Saturday which, if you are moving house, is VERY early.

The staff have always been helpful and pleasant. They were happy to accept deliveries and place in our storage room. Any queries were quickly and efficiently resolved.
