Shurgard Self Storage - Camberley

Last minute hectic when moving house! Richard and Kieran been absolutely fantastic, finding the right storage size and been really helpful! The team is very good, they even showed how to use the service. Well done guys! Thank you so much for your call today and for your help!!

**UPDATE** I have since been contacted by Shurgard. Kia the Manager of the West District called me to ask about the situation, after explaining Kia apologised and offered a resolution. Kia was very professional and understood my frustration. He said they were going to look at their training procedure and retrain the individuals involved. They are also arranging a refund for the payment taken for April. I am very happy that Shurgard & Kia took the time to to resolve my issue and make it right as that does not often happen. So I am impressed by that, thank you. Once again a happy customer.** Will never use them again or recommend. Long story short, moved my items out on the 29th March apart from one item. Asked to extend for 10 days (as I was told by Shurgard I could do this) as one item left in there but later on that same day said I had managed to move that one item out. Took photos and removed the lock and retained. Emailed them the photos etc. Only find out that they have taken my £250 payment for April on the 2nd of April. I rang the branch and was told "I can assure you there is no way you are getting a refund", I also was told I could not escalate this issue and that there had been a change in the polices on the 22nd March PLUS I was also told "No client was emailed about this". Spoke to head office and was also told "No refund was to be given". So now I am out of pocket of £250!!! Paying for an empty storage unit. Feel very frustrated and like I have been robbed of my money...Never again will I use this unethical company!!!

Richard and his colleague have been amazing. Having to make multiple move in changes and explaining the whole process fully from start to end, the team have been great. Would highly recommend them and would definitely be back if I need a storage unit in the future!

We went with Shurgard over other companies because of attractive rates and the £1 first month promotion. Shane was really friendly and helpful from when we first booked, reserving us a unit close to the lift for ease of access. We needed to access the unit from early on a Saturday morning so Shane advised us to visit last thing on a Friday to sign all the paperwork, then he stayed a few minutes late to show us to our unit. Based on our experience so far, we would definitely recommend Shurgard to others.

They have a virtual tour on their google panel where you can take a look inside the storage units to see what size you need. This makes it really helpful meaning you'll have an idea of sizings before you visit which is pretty cool.
