Big Yellow Self Storage - Cambridge

Absolutely amazing experience with Big Yellow. My wife and I had to store 3 bedroom apartment worth of stuff here while we looked for permanent housing in Cambridge, and were staying in an Airbnb. They made everything so easy for us, and bent over backwards to help us, such as when we needed to upgrade our storage space on the day of the move, and they sorted it out, switching us from 50 square foot to 75 square foot in just 10 minutes. They offer extended hours access until 10pm if you call or email and request it, which was a godsend when we ended up moving our things out of storage much later in the day than originally planned, due to other circumstances not related to Big Yellow. They're relatively centrally located, and since they're by a big grocery store, you can get groceries or a coffee at Starbucks nearby after dropping off your stuff. Can't recommend the staff and company enough!

This was my first time using storage in the UK, and I don’t think I’ll need to look anywhere else in the future. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Before my drop-off day, the team called to walk me through all the details, which I really appreciated. When I arrived, I was able to use one of the carts to unload my belongings—very helpful since I was on my own. Nadir welcomed me, explained how everything worked, helped me decide whether I needed a larger unit, and was incredibly supportive throughout. Excellent service, highly recommend. I also found the pricing to be very fair.

Very positive experience. The facilities are tidy and clean. Always pleasantly quiet during my visits (and even at slightly busier times it still felt rather quiet). Anita and David have been very helpful and explained everything clearly, always with a friendly attitude and a smile.

Very smooth and easy to use. Reasonable price. Great if you need to size up or down. Packing materials available to buy if needed. Trolleys available to move your stuff. Good security. Access 7 days a week. Can check in online. Staff are nice and helpful. Premises is spotless.

It’s rare to find such great customer service these days — they truly made me feel like a valued customer. The facility itself is clean, secure, and easy to access, but it’s the team that really makes this location stand out. Highly recommend this branch if you’re looking for storage in Cambridge.
