Shurgard Self Storage - Exeter

Arrived at Shurgard Exeter on Tuesday morning to unload a house worth of belongings into storage. We weren't sure of the size we had booked but were offered excellent advice from the staff there. They went out of their way to help us. Unloading was really easy with access to lifts and trolleys which were clean and in good working order. Having not used storage facilities before, and stressing about the job of unloading and moving ALOT of stuff, I needn't have worried. Seamless job, great facilities and extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very impressed so far and would highly recommend.

Checked out several storage facilities around Marsh Barton and they’re pretty much all the same except Shurgard offered us the cheapest option so we went with them. Reserved the space on line, dead easy and saved the admin fee. Went to reception and was greeted by very friendly and super helpful staff, Nutella and Martin. Sorry if I’ve got your names wrong guys but you were really good.

Very well organised and easy to use, good access to trolleys and plenty of space for loading/unloading. Good size modern elevator which is smooth and speedy. Very helpful staff just follow the rules for a trouble free experience like remembering to sign in and out on each visit. Overall very impressed 10/10 will use again and highly recommend to friends.

Fantastic value for money! Excellent guidance when we first moved in. No issues at any point and really helpful staff when coming to the end of our rental. Would definitely recommend!

I was particularly impressed in how quick, simple and straightforward it was to get a storage set up. Choose the size that you want, from the preferred date, provide online verification without the palava in going down in person. A couple of years ago when I tried to get storage from another provider, the hoops we had to jump through was borderline ridiculous and we wanted a very small space back then. You have the option in trying again if any technical issues. With myself, the internet chose a wonderful convenient time to drop, which timed me out. I was worried I would have to then go in person (my hours are not very flexible) - auto email followed, tried again and went through with no issues. Before i had the auto email as I was doing this very late into the night, i panicked and emailed customer service. By the morning not only had I received the email needed to continue, but also received a response shortly after I finished it from customer service, confirming i was set up successfully. Overall, very impressed with the quick response, the set up of the lock up and the courtesy call that followed to ask when I would be going in to collect the keys. And thankfully, as they stay open that bit later on a thursday, it allows those such as myself to pop in during the week, but later rather than leaving it for the weekend. Highly recommend!
