Shurgard Self Storage - Greenwich

I have used a few other storage companies nearby and quite a few around London in the 12 years since I moved here. Shurgard is my preferred one by quite some way. I like their custom locks better than using my own padlock, the sites are well-maintained and much cleaner in comparison to other storage places I have used. The app is very intuitive. In general I feel confident leaving my belongings with them. Usman was very helpful in opening my new unit at Greenwich. No complaints.

Shurgard Greenwich is my first experience ever renting a storage unit and I want to shout out Caroline in particular for being so helpful. No question was too silly, they were super helpful making sure I had everything I needed and were kind enough to explain the access instructions even after I forgot straight after being told.

We were given a tour by the manager (I think). She explained all the rules and made us aware of the current promotions on offer. Very patient and helpful.

Amazing Staff. Happy and so friendly, nothing seems to much for them. I had a lovely lady called Catherine who assisted me with my enquiry. I would definitely recommend Greenwich above all other storage companies. Just wish i could give more than 5 stars. 😊

Good storage units that are a decent size. Secure, nice and clean. Staff are helpful. Located on a quiet road with easy access and egress to join main road. Downsides: signal service is poor. If you get logged out of the app, you could be stuck. car park is small. Not busy most times but you could be stuck with nowhere to park. random FIXED price hikes due to "demand" is crazy. If I sign a contract at an agreed price, I should not be blindsided by a higher rate because it is hard and expensive to move to a different provider when Shurgard raise rates by 15%.
