Shurgard Self Storage - Woolwich

Generally had a decent experience with Shurgard Woolwich certainly their staff are very good and conscientious hence 3 stars. However Shurgard has to deal with the pest issue. I came to take my things out of storage yesterday and discovered I had had a mice infestation. The manager was quick to get me the form to make an insurance claim and emailed all the additional info I would need. Will now have to go through the process of making a claim, clean and disinfect what I can and bin the rest which includes my mattress. There is a reason they DON’T allow you to store food in their units!

I want to commend customer service advisor - Bret, who truly went above and beyond to assist me. He was attentive, empathetic, and proactive in resolving my issue which was taken care of with such professionalism. His exceptional support made a frustrating situation so much easier, and I truly appreciate the extra effort eg. sending emails and doing a follow-up phone call to ensure I was satisfied. I am incredibly grateful. Outstanding service!"

Bret has been a fantastic help since renting a storage container. He is always very friendly and approachable if we have any questions. Monday 13th January he stood outside for hours waiting for the engineer to come to sort the fire alarm out and was professional when dealing with customers throughout this situation even despite standing outside for 5 hours!!!

Fred was very helpful and obliging Explained everything more than once so I understood ,he also manually showed as how things work. Explained all paperwork and was genuinely very helpful and polite A real credit to the company 👏
